A big hello from Phyllis and David!  

We have recently relocated to Dannevirke, Southern Hawkes bay from Canterbury, where we owned a small dry land farm.

Phyllis (originally from the UK) has a background within the hospitality industry where she has both owned and managed hotels throughout New Zealand .

David has worked throughout both the South and North Islands on a vast variety of farms and high country stations.

Our varied background has been shown to be complimentary in our desire to establish a quality Bed and Breakfast.  After many months of searching the lower half of the North Island have decided upon Dannevirke as our choice of home.

As a couple, we really enjoy opening our home to others and have discovered that our guests offer a full and varied tabloid of personal experiences and adventures.

As with a large number of Kiwis we are both avid All Black supporters... well until the English rugby team are in NZ; then there can be conflict.

We are both strong parochial supporters of Canterbury (having lived there for ... years) and enjoy the occasional drop of Canterbury wine when we can.

We both have a variety of interests and hobbies that keep them active and are still participating in farming - but perhaps our involvement is on the scale of “play farming”
